We are hiring a Protective Services Guard for our locations in Duncan, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• •Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.
• •Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
• •Observing, meeting and greeting customers.
• •Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
• •Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.
• •Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
• •Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.
• •Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• •Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.

You have:

• •A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
• •Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.
• •Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
• •Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• •Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
• •Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• •Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
• •Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).
• •Open availability (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$20.00 - $26.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
