Prototype Engineer

Job Purpose (Significance of the role & Objectives)

We are looking for a prototype engineer is responsible for creating prototypes of new products. These prototypes are used to test the design and functionality of a product before it goes into full production.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• •Working with other members of the engineering team to develop and test new product designs
• •Participating in research and development activities to develop new engineering ideas or improve existing designs.
• •Evaluating new technology and materials to determine their potential applications in existing products or in new products Responsible for metal integration in the vehicle.
• •Will be responsible for add and subtract to any metal part in the stretchers design.
• •Conducting engineering tests on prototypes to measure performance against design specifications.
• •Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
• •Coordinating with other departments to ensure that the product can be manufactured efficiently and cost effectively.

Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience

• •Skilled in workshop with an experience in using power tools and measuring tools.
• •Ability to operate various machining-related tools (cutting, grinding, finishing, welding).
• •In-depth understanding of prototyping, testing, homologation, and validation process.
• •Ability to read and interpret various 2D, 3D and line sketch drawings Ability to visualize the final product output.
