We are seeking a Python Developer with strong automation experience to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Python development experience, expertise with GitHub and Jenkins, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment while delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Role and Responsibilities

Develop, debug, and maintain Python-based automation scripts and applications.

Refactor existing Python scripts to align with enterprise automation standards and evolving business requirements.

Design and build scalable, flexible, and maintainable automation frameworks using Python.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

Utilize GitHub and JIRA to manage work, track issues, and collaborate effectively with team members.

Improve test coverage, enhance release velocity, and support production stability through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Experience

4 to 6 years of overall professional experience.

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Python development experience.

Strong expertise with GitHub and Jenkins.

Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Candidates must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years.

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting federal government projects, preferably CMS programs.

Exposure to or understanding of mainframe systems.

Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
