QA Engineer (Manual, Web Platform)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Engineer (Manual, Web Platform) based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to own quality across a critical web platform supporting subscription-based digital products. You will test functionality end to end across frontend, backend, APIs, and third-party integrations in a fast-moving environment with frequent releases. The position goes beyond executing test cases, requiring strong investigation skills, risk-based thinking, and the ability to identify root causes. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to validate requirements before development and ensure reliable releases. As a key point of contact for issues raised by Monetization, Finance, and Product Tech teams, you will assess problems and communicate findings clearly. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to automation decisions, documentation, and continuous improvements to QA practices.
