QA Engineer (service desk)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Engineer (Service Desk) based in Portugal.

• This role combines quality assurance expertise with hands-on investigation and service desk responsibilities in a fast-moving fintech environment.
• You will investigate customer-reported issues and work closely with technical teams to drive them through to resolution.
• Your work will directly contribute to the reliability, performance, and quality of payment and financial technology solutions.
• You’ll analyze APIs, logs, databases, documentation, and historical incidents to identify root causes and product behavior.
• The position offers broad exposure to web applications, payment systems, integrations, and end-to-end software development processes.
