Position Summary

Central Semiconductor is looking to add a QC Inspector to join the QC Team. The QC Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections on electronic components and materials to ensure conformance to specifications.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; structured training will be provided to the right candidate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• •Performs inspections in accordance with departmental procedures and work instructions.
• •Sets up and runs test programs on automatic test equipment (ATE), and checks for ATE correlations.
• •Visually examines products to detect defects such as incorrect markings, improper orientation in packaging, improper packaging, bent leads, blemishes, stains, for both standard devices and TWM devices.
• •Verifies conformance of products to dimensional specifications using a variety of measuring instruments for both standard and TWM devices.
• •Records results of inspections in the system and prepares inspection reports, identifying approved and rejected quantities.
• •Observes safety rules, regulations, and procedures while operating all equipment.
• •Performs processes needed to maintain inventory integrity.
• •Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred Qualifications

Quality Control Inspection experience with electronic components; 2 plus years related Quality Control experience; a one year certificate from technical school or one-two years of college; and experience with ISO9001:2015 are all preferred.
