The Quality Manager is responsible for the leadership, development, implementation, and continual improvement of the Company's Quality Management System (QMS). This position ensures compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements while promoting a culture of quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Working collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Supply Chain, the Quality Manager provides technical leadership and quality expertise to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing performance. This position is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance Department, overseeing inspection activities, driving corrective actions, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring that quality objectives align with the Company's strategic goals.

What You'll Do

As our Quality Manager, you'll lead our AS9100D/ISO 9001 Quality Management System while working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

You'll be responsible for:

• •Leading and continuously improving our Quality Management System (AS9100D/ISO 9001).
• •Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve business performance.
• •Coaching and developing a quality-focused culture throughout the organization.
• •Leading internal and external audits while maintaining certification requirements.
• •Driving root cause investigations and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• •Using data and metrics to identify trends and improve manufacturing performance.
• •Collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and strengthen partnerships.
• •Supporting new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.
• •Leading a team of quality professionals while developing future talent.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• •Equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible quality management experience will be considered.

Experience

• •Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• •Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• •Aerospace manufacturing experience and knowledge of AS9100D strongly preferred.
• •Experience managing Quality Management Systems and leading certification audits.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• •Thorough knowledge of AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, quality management principles, and regulatory requirements.
• •Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques.
• •Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, control plans, SPC, MSA, and process capability analysis.
• •Proficiency with Root Cause Analysis methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
• •Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• •Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• •Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• •Ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.
• •ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification is preferred.

Working Relationships

This position works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Executive Management, suppliers, customers, and third-party auditors to ensure consistent quality performance and regulatory compliance.

Success Measures

Success in this position is measured by:

• •Maintaining AS9100D and ISO 9001 certification with successful audit outcomes.
• •Reduction in customer complaints, nonconformances, scrap, and rework.
• •Improvement in supplier quality performance.
• •Timely completion and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• •Achievement of departmental KPIs and quality objectives.
• •Continuous improvement in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Pay Range:

100,000.00 - 150,000.00
