About the Role

At Toll Healthcare, we are seeking an experienced Manager, Quality Assurance to lead and continuously enhance our quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and industry requirements. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive quality excellence across our healthcare operations, oversee assurance programs, support operational stakeholders, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to influence business performance, strengthen compliance frameworks, and contribute to delivering safe, reliable healthcare logistics solutions.

A day in the life of a Manager, Quality Assurance at Toll Group

  • Lead and maintain the vendor assurance program, including supplier qualification, audits, and Quality Agreements.
  • Oversee change controls, customer complaints, CAPA, and non-conformance processes to ensure timely resolution.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, investigations, and quality events.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Support onboarding of new customers and sites from a quality and compliance perspective.
  • Partner with operational teams, customers, and stakeholders to promote quality excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Science degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 12 years’ quality experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, or consumer health industries.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Strong knowledge of TGA regulations and PIC/S Code of GMP.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Internal and external auditing experience.

Skills & Experience

  • Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience managing CAPA, non-conformances, change controls, complaints, and supplier quality programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause investigation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience within logistics, warehousing, validation, transport, packaging, or temperature-controlled environments is highly regarded.
