• About the Role
• As a Quality Assurance Manager at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our pipe manufacturing operations. This position requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of quality management systems, and the ability to maintain certifications for our products and processes. You will contribute directly to improving product quality, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting the overall efficiency of production.

You will collaborate with plant management, engineering teams, and external auditors to ensure that our quality assurance processes are optimized. This is an on-site role located in Blytheville, AR.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, is detail-oriented, and has a strong background in quality management and standards.

• What You’ll Do
• •Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
• •Manages the Quality Management System, including ISO 9001:2015 certification and API Q1 product certifications.
• •Monitors the Tensile Management program to ensure compliance with ASTM and API requirements for sampling, testing, and product standards.
• •Implements and oversees pipe mill metallography program to verify weld setups on mills.
• •Creates and manages Internal Specification Sheets for ERW products.
• •Maintains laboratory equipment and QA procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
• •Coordinates special projects as directed by Plant Management.
• •Manages testing and reporting of customer product claims, customer sample requests, incoming raw materials, and plant trials.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.
• •Regular and predictable, full-time, on-site attendance during scheduled hours.

• Who You Are
• •5+ years of experience in steel pipe and tube manufacturing, with a focus on quality assurance.
• •Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• •Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level 2 certification preferred.
• •Working knowledge of ISO, API, and ASTM standards.
• •Strong understanding of manufacturing and construction processes.
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
