Duties

• •Plans and implements quality assurance aircraft manufacturing/production processes to evaluate risk management programs.
• •Performs technical quality data analysis to determine supplier compliance with contractual requirements.
• •Fact finds or investigates techniques of unsatisfactory trends to develop recommendations to correct deficiencies and employ continuous improvement techniques.
• •Provides technical support and recommendations to team members to ensure mission requirements are delivered.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Ensuring contract compliance with all requirements related to the design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and modernization of a variety of items. Identifying, understanding, proofing, measuring and analyzing contractor production process capability. Developing/implementing a surveillance plan that includes identification of contractor and sub-contractor production needs. Performing audits and surveillance of contractors process to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
