Job Description

The Quality Engineer / Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the Quality Control team while ensuring components meet requirements, engineering specifications, and regulatory standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines daily supervision of QC personnel with active involvement in inspections, measurements, data analysis, recordkeeping, and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• •Supervise Quality Control Technicians, providing daily leadership and oversight of executing department activities and priorities.
• •Establish and maintain inspection, testing, and measurement standards for raw materials and components.
• •Perform and oversee hands-on inspections, measurements, and quality evaluations using precision measurement equipment.
• •Participate in root cause investigations, statistical process control (SPC) activities, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to resolve quality issues.
• •Analyze quality data, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and improve product performance.
• •Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and quality management systems, including ISO standards.
• •Manage calibration programs and ensure inspection and test equipment remain accurate and compliant.
• •Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and customer satisfaction.
• •Mentor QC Technicians on proper measurement methods and techniques.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM discipline.
• •4+ years of quality engineering or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• •1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• •Strong attention to detail
• •Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, root cause analysis, SPC, CAPA, and inspection methodologies.
• •Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and measurement requirements.
• •Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• •Must be US Citizen or PERM Resident
• •Must be able to lift 25lbs unassisted

Salary Range:

$77,900.00-$103,800.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
