Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

The work model for the role is: #L-onsite

This role is contributing to the ELSP division in Juarez, Mexico . Main stakeholders are Electrification Team

You will be mainly accountable for:

• •Monitor manufacturing processes and quality performance to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• •Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• •Support manufacturing teams in identifying and reducing process variation, defects, scrap, and rework.
• •Participate in the definition and monitoring of process quality indicators and improvement actions.
• •Lead or support structured problem-solving activities for internal and customer quality issues using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone, Pareto analysis, and Root Cause Analysis .
• •Coordinate containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification for nonconformities.
• •Follow corrective and preventive actions through closure, ensuring sustainable solutions are implemented.

Qualifications for the role

• •Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering , or a related engineering field.
• •1 to 3 years of experience in Quality, Process Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related manufacturing environment.
• •Experience working directly with manufacturing processes and production teams.
• •Intermediate to advanced English communication skills , with the ability to participate in technical discussions.
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel .
• •Working knowledge or hands-on experience with: Problem-solving methodologies: 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, Control Plans, Nonconformance and corrective action management and Quality KPIs and data analysis
• •We are looking for a Quality Engineer who demonstrates: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , hands-on approach and willingness to work directly on the manufacturing floor.
• •Advanced English level
