JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Technician position is accountable for leading and managing effective day-to-day quality by inspecting all incoming and outgoing products for defects to ensure quality products.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Inspection of incoming and/or outgoing products for defects.
• •Inspect product for accuracy, consistency, and finish quality, as needed.
• •Communicate defects to necessary personnel.
• •Repair cabinetry component defects when applicable.
• •Communicate with various departments and personnel.
• •Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork.
• •Maintain production and quality standards.
• •Follow all safety rules and work instructions.
• •Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• •Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• •May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.
• •Communicate with employees on a regular basis.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• •Must have strong color vision with the ability to accurately distinguish subtle variations in color.
• •Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively.
• •Ability to read the move ticket and understand ALL of its contents.
• •Must have a strong attention to detail.
• •Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• •Must have good team work/communication skills.
• •Identify any specialized equipment used in this job and indicate the daily percent of time spent on each.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.50 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Type: Full Time

Hours: Range From Around 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday overtime
