Quality Technician

Job Description:

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Wellford, SC location for a Quality Technician who will perform basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. Primary Responsibilities:

• •Responsible for returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaint handling
• •Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications
• •Develop inspection instructions
• •Perform system audits to ensure procedures are being followed
• •Gathers data to help support continual improvement activity
• •Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• •2-year degree with HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience
• •Must be knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques. Familiar with a QMS such as ISO 9000:2000. Prefer a person with a certification such as the CQT

Physical Demands:

• •Standing for extended periods of time.
• •Repetitive motion.
• •Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
• •Frequent lifting up to 50lbs – team lifts over 50lbs.
• •Able to work in various temperature conditions.
