Optimize high-throughput data ETL pipelines, persistent and in-memory caches, and SQL databases to support real-time market data processing
Write robust unit and integration tests and automate testing to ensure system correctness under live market conditions
Improve research and trading tools and infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems
Participate in comprehensive, in-depth training and mentorship to deepen understanding of production trading systems and systematic strategies
Take ownership of projects from design to deployment, working both independently and as part of a small, fast-growing team to build solutions that can have real impact
WHAT'S REQUIRED
Undergraduate or higher degree in computer science, machine learning, or another quantitative discipline, or current enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program
Strong programming experience in Java with production-level coding quality and object-oriented design skills
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker
Experience working in Unix environments and proficiency with shell scripting
Knowledge of version control using Git and experience with continuous integration and delivery tools and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a small team
Availability to work fulltime onsite in New York from January to April 2027
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
