R&D Engineer Materials

We are seeking a Materials Engineer with expertise in materials characterization and product development .

The successful candidate will support the characterization, development, and optimization of cable and accessories technologies.

In this role, you will:

• •Perform advanced polymer morphological characterization to identify dispersion and distribution of polymeric and inorganic phases.
• •Correlate polymer structure with chemical‑physical, rheological, and electrical properties of compounds.
• •Conduct comparative analyses to support material development, troubleshooting, and product optimization.
• •Analyze, interpret, and model complex multi‑technique datasets.
• •Generate clear technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for R\&D and engineering teams.
• •Actively support development of optimized material formulations and manufacturing processes for cable products.

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Polymer Science or Materials Science
• •Proven experience in polymer materials characterization and microscopy, between 3/5 years of experience overall
• •Experience with extrusion or injection molding processes is a nice to have
• •Solid understanding of polymer physics, chemistry, and structure–property relationships
• •Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• •Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• •Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset

• •Gross annual salary no less than: € 38.000,00
• •The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
