R&D Essential Oils Team Intern

Job Responsibilities:

• •Batch oil blends in lab for sample requests, sample submission batches, and formulation
• •Submit samples to doTERRA analytical laboratories for physical, chemical and stability testing
• •Organize laboratory operations, including recording inventory, ordering supplies, and waste management
• •Test solubility and scale-up of unique natural raw materials
• •Perform other responsibilities as directed

Job Qualifications:

• •Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in chemistry, food science, nutrition, biology or related field required
• •At least 1 year of laboratory experience required
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• •Ability to communicate and write effectively
• •Excellent teamwork skills
• •Meticulous attention to detail
• •Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in identifying tasks that need to be completed
• •Ability to smell and taste essential oils
• •Ability to tolerate strong smells for extended periods of time
• •Ability to stand and work in lab for multiple consecutive hours
