Job Description:

Mid Florida Hematology and Oncology Centers PA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Radiation Therapist (ARRT) to join our dedicated radiation therapy team at our freestanding cancer treatment center in Orange City, FL.

In this role, you will work closely with our Radiation Oncologists and multidisciplinary care team to deliver precise, high-quality radiation treatments using state-of-the-art technology, providing exceptional support and care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• •Treatment Delivery: Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely following physician orders and established protocol.
• •Advanced Technology & Techniques: Proficiently utilize advanced treatment techniques, including 3D Conformal, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT.
• •EHR & Verification: Operate Varian linear accelerators and manage patient records and verification seamlessly within ARIA.
• •Patient Care & Communication: Position and monitor patients during treatment, explain procedures, address patient concerns, and ensure physical comfort and safety.
• •Quality Assurance: Perform daily QA checks, maintain accurate treatment logs, and adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines.
• •Team Collaboration: Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

• •Education & Credentials:
• •Active State of Florida R.T. (T) license (Required)
• •ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (Required)
• •Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• •Experience:
• •Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist (Preferred)
• •Hands-on proficiency with Varian equipment and ARIA.

• •Strong clinical communication, acute attention to patient safety, empathy, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
