We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our outstanding Radiation Oncology team in Provo, Utah . What You'll Do
As a Radiation Therapist, you will be an integral member of the oncology care team, responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and expectations
Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and patients for therapy sessions
Verify treatment parameters and maintain accurate treatment documentation
Perform weekly electronic chart reviews and treatment record audits
Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and skin reactions
Conduct tumor localization using image-guided and surface-guided technologies
Schedule patient treatments and coordinate daily workflow
Manage treatment supplies and maintain a clean, organized treatment environment
Perform daily quality assurance and safety checks on treatment equipment, including the TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and CT scanner
Support department quality and safety initiatives while maintaining compliance with established protocols
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
Current Utah Radiation Therapist License
Current BLS Certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and treatment excellence
Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years of Radiation Therapy experience (preferred, not required)
Experience with Varian TrueBeam technology
Experience using Aria Record & Verify systems
CT Simulation experience
Familiarity with advanced treatment modalities including IMRT, SRS, and SBRT
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
Exceptional attention to detail and treatment accuracy
Ability to understand and implement radiation treatment plans
Knowledge of quality assurance and verification procedures
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
Commitment to departmental policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
Understanding of accurate treatment documentation and billing practices
