Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians

Ensure patient safety and radiation protection standards are followed

Properly position patients for accurate imaging results

Maintain accurate patient imaging records and documentation

Assist with equipment maintenance and imaging supplies

Maintain a clean and safe imaging environment

Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff

Radiologic Technologist Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)

Valid State Radiologic Technologist License

CPR/AED Certification for Healthcare Providers

Experience with PACS and radiology computer systems preferred

Ability to assist patients with positioning and mobility
