RDI Brazil - Senior Software Developer - C#/.NET

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET to join our engineering team.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software solutions, working closely with technical and cross-functional teams in a global environment. We are looking for someone with solid software engineering fundamentals, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute independently to complex technical initiatives.

What you'll do

• •Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services using C#/.NET.
• •Build and evolve APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• •Contribute to architectural and technical design decisions.
• •Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• •Support engineering best practices through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• •Mentor and support other engineers when needed.
• •Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams in a global environment.

Must-have requirements

• •8+ years of professional software development experience.
• •Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and backend development.
• •Experience designing and developing APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
• •Solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• •Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• •Experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices.
• •Experience with automated testing and code quality practices.
• •Previous experience mentoring engineers and/or contributing to technical and architectural decisions.
• •English proficiency for professional conversations - you will work directly with a global team.

Nice to Have

• •Experience with GCP.
• •Event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
• •Docker and Kubernetes.
• •JavaScript/TypeScript.
• •C++ or Next.js.
• •Experience with high-volume transactional systems.
• •Previous experience working with global or distributed engineering teams.
