Receiving Clerk - Part Time

Summary:

Reporting to the Retail Manager - Operations, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments

Responsibilities:

• •Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
• •Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• •Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• •Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product
• •Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• •Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• •Assist with merchandise purges when necessary

Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
• •Customer service oriented team player
• •Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous, positive and professional manner
• •Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise
• •Steel toes work boots are required
• •Must be able to obtain a PAL license
