Recreation Aid (Facility Aid) NF-01

Summary

This position is located at: MOB Physical Fitness Center -North Fort Hood, Texas. We provide state-of-the-art exercise and total body equipment. Our facilities are free of charge to all authorized patrons. This facility is located off Central Avenue in Gatesville, Texas.

Duties

• •Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager.
• •Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
• •Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts
• •Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
• •Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above. Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service. Must meet physical requirements of position such as walking, bending ,lifting, carrying ,pushing and pulling of items or cart up to 45 pounds.
