Recreation Assistant (Facilities Operator) NF-02

Duties

• •Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
• •Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities equipment.
• •Opens and/or closes facilities by locking /unlocking doors and windows and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users.
• •Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events; put up and take down special event decorations.
• •Polices interior and exterior areas of building and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above. Must have and retain a valid driver's license. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: 6 months of customer service and/or recreation experience 6 months of experience using a cash register Experience using Rectrac software ***Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.
