Recycling Operator and Driver

As a Hybrid Equipment Operator and Swing Driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:

• •Operating heavy equipment to manage incoming recycled material, such as: front end loaders, skid steers, cardboard baler, and compactors
• •Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment
• •Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
• •Operating a variety of waste collections vehicles as needed by the business, including roll-off, front-end, and molok trucks.
• •Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5AM to 2:30 PM. Must be available for rotating statutory holidays, call-ins and possible Overtime.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• •2+ years’ experience running heavy equipment
• •Valid DZ or AZ Driver’s license
• •Clean Driving Record
• •Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• •Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
• •Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
