Overview:

SMG Family & Internal Medicine Physicians Careplex is now hiring a Referral Coordinator in the Hampton, VA area!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, dayshift.

This position is remote.

Overview:

Provides a direct link between patients, primary care providers, specialty providers, and insurance companies. Coordinates referral process from primary care providers as well as pre-authorization approvals for drugs and other services as ordered by provider.

Medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third party payers. One year of experience with insurance verification/referral processing preferred. Knowledge of EPIC preferred. Proficient in use of computers and excellent organizational skills.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.73 - $32.91 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
