About the role

We're now looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across our UK Services business. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll manage a team of Category Buyers and Purchasing Administrators, influence procurement strategy, and help shape the future of our supply chain operations. Key Duties:

• •Lead, develop and mentor a team of Category Buyers and Purchasing Administrators.
• •Implement category strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
• •Drive supplier consolidation and standardisation opportunities across the UK service network.
• •Negotiate competitive supplier agreements, rebates and commercial terms.
• •Build strategic supplier partnerships that improve service, quality and cost performance.
• •Act as a senior escalation point for supplier-related challenges.
• •Monitor supplier performance, delivery metrics and procurement KPIs.
• •Identify cost-saving and value-improvement opportunities through benchmarking and market analysis.
• •Partner with stakeholders across operations, engineering, finance and leadership teams to support business objectives.
• •Champion compliance, procurement governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

We're interested in speaking with procurement professionals who combine strong commercial capability with proven leadership experience.

You'll ideally bring:

• •Procurement experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial services or a related technical environment.
• •Proven experience developing, implementing and embedding category-based procurement strategies across multiple spend areas, driving supplier optimisation, cost reduction, risk mitigation and long-term value creation.
• •Experience leading and developing procurement teams.
• •Strong supplier management and negotiation expertise.
• •Commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality and operational requirements.
• •Experience managing multiple stakeholders and influencing decision making.
• •A proactive and strategic approach to driving change and continuous improvement.
• •Knowledge of SAP and/or D365 would be advantageous.
