JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices. To reduce the work of breathing caused by disease, injury or trauma (surgical). To set-up and operate various types of oxygen and respiratory equipment. To instruct patient in prescribed rehabilitation.

EDUCATION:

Prefer graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program

NY State licensed Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician; Respiratory Therapy Technician
