Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Craemill Vets on a full-time or part-time basis.

Join the friendly team at Craemill Vets, working across our practices in Cookstown and Magherafelt. You’ll be part of a close-knit team of around 25 colleagues, including 4 qualified RVNs, with a welcoming approach to nurses of all experience levels, including newly qualified RVNs.

Our practices are well equipped with a dedicated operating theatre, imaging suite with digital X-ray, dental equipment, endoscopy and separate cat and dog wards, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills across a varied caseload.

Located just 30 minutes from the North Coast and 45 minutes from Belfast, Craemill Vets offers the chance to build your career within a supportive team while enjoying easy access to some of Northern Ireland’s best-loved locations.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

* Full-time, 38 hours per week

* Working shifts Monday to Friday

* 1 in 4 Saturday rota working either 9am-2pm or 9am-1pm, with TOIL

* We are open to discussing part-time applications

General Responsibilities

* Nurse consults

* Assisting with surgical procedures

* General inpatient care

* Supporting our veterinary surgeons with diagnostics

* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
