Summary of Job Duties:

The Registrar's Administrative Coordinator independently administers departmental procurement and accounts payable functions in accordance with university policies and procedures. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, contracts, supplier onboarding and PaymentWorks requirements, P-Card administration, inventory management, and departmental purchasing needs; monitoring procurement and payment transactions; maintaining required documentation; ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures; and researching and resolving issues to support timely reconciliation and fiscal year-end closeout.

The Coordinator serves as a primary resource for human resources and personnel matters for the Office of the Registrar including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, maintaining confidential personnel records and coordinating employment actions. This position works collaboratively with the Enrollment Services Budget Officer and Manager of Business Operations and the Chief of Staff for Enrollment Services. The Coordinator supports student success that advances the goals of the Office of the Registrar and Enrollment Services and performs other duties as assigned.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least three years of training or experience in administrative support, business management, or a related field

OR

  • A bachelor's degree in sociology, public administration, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Experience in program administration or in a leadership position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Budgeting and inventory management experience
  • Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) processes, procedures, and administrative tasks
  • Experience using Workday as an administrator
  • Experience with University of Arkansas at Fayetteville policies and procedures
