Required Education & Experience

• •Ph.D. or M.D. degree in a biomedical or related scientific field.
• •More than two years of hands-on laboratory experience in biomedical research, including work with animal models and cell culture systems.
• •Experience conducting independent research, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific publications.

Key Responsibilities

• •Independently design and conduct research projects focused on retina and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) biology and disease.
• •Execute and complete studies outlined in the Principal Investigator's (PI's) funded research grants.
• •Generate high-quality research data to support peer-reviewed publications and future grant proposals.
• •Prepare, write, and submit scientific manuscripts for publication.
• •Collaborate with the PI and research team to advance ongoing research initiatives and support the overall goals of the laboratory.
