Resident Field Engineer

Provide dedicated on-site technical support for medical technology products at 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid, including troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair, while ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.

Your role:

• •Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers, accurately diagnosing issues and implementing solutions in line with regulatory guidelines, safety standards, and company protocols.
• •Support the installation, maintenance, repair, routine checks, and performance validation of medical devices, helping ensure equipment functions effectively and potential failures are prevented.
• •Work with limited supervision and autonomy, setting priorities for your own work based on general guidelines while documenting all service activity accurately in the Service Management System.
• •Build strong customer relationships by handling inquiries and complaints professionally, communicating clearly on service status and timelines, and escalating more complex issues when needed.
• •Develop your technical expertise through hands-on support of senior technicians during advanced procedures and ongoing training on new products, service procedures, and compliance expectations.

You're the right fit if:

• •You hold a High School Diploma or Vocational Education.
• •You have experience in system administration, technical troubleshooting, and supporting customers in a service-oriented environment.
• •You are confident drafting clear technical documentation and maintaining accurate service records, including diagnostics, resolutions, and parts used.
• •You are a fluent Spanish speaker with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €32,350.00–€ 38,863.33. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for a short-term incentive, with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision. How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is a field role.

This role is not open to relocation.
