RF Test Engineer

As a RF Test Engineer , you will join our  Guildford team to support our activities within the consumer products sector. Are you an experienced RF Test Engineer looking to contribute to cutting-edge testing projects ? Join ALTEN and support a radio testing initiative for consumer products in a lab-based environment . Key Responsibilities

• •Conduct RF testing using equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes .
• •Operate RF chambers and ensure compliance with testing standards .
• •Assist in the day-to-day scheduling and execution of lab activities .
• •Collaborate with the engineering team to validate and test products.

Required Skills & Experience

• •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field , or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience .
• •2+ years of experience in RF testing .
• •Hands-on experience with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF chamber operations .
• •Strong understanding of RF principles and testing methodologies .
• •Ability to work in a structured environment , ensuring accreditation and compliance with standards .

Desirable Skills

• •Experience with automated testing systems or test scripting .
• •Familiarity with industry-specific testing standards (e.g., ETSI, FCC, or similar).
• •Knowledge of consumer product testing and validation processes.
