How you’ll make an impact

Leverage your expertise in enterprise risk management , policy and risk governance to continuously enhance FCC’s risk practices. As a Risk Specialist, y ou’ll collaborate with key risk management partners, including senior leaders, to guide the development of policies , standards and processes , as we ll as provide support to the risk management committees at FCC .

As a strong communicator , you’ ll ensur e polic ies and b riefing ma terials are well structur ed and app ropriat e for a senior leade r audience . Yo u’ll use your atte ntion t o detail and organizational sk ills to dri ve process enhancement in ho w the r isk com mittee s are supporte d.

What you’ll do

Work with stakeholders and partners to understand and translate business practices and information into meaningful policies and related documentation across risk categories

Coach and mentor others to understand and implement effective policy practices , governance through the three lines model and operate within risk appetite

Deve lop materials inclu ding briefing notes and power poin ts for ex ecutiv e and commit tee audien ce s , men toring other s in thi s area o f expert ise

Prov ide support 3 of F CC’s risk manage ment commi ttees inclu ding manag ing pro cess enha ncement s

What you’ll bring to the team

Required q ualifications:

A degree in economics , business administration or a related field

At least four years of experience in a gover nance, risk management or policy management environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

Extensive knowledge of governance in areas such as p olicy d evelopment

E xperience with industry standards and frameworks and committ ee ma nageme nt

Preferred q ualifications:

Certifications related to risk management or governance , such as CRM , CRMP, GPC.D

Experience in financial services or regulated industries

Experience developing governance str uctures, p ractices and policies
