RPGLE Developer

• Position: RPGLE Developer
• Experience: 4-10 Years
• Work Location: Noida / Pune / Bangalore

• Key Responsibilities
• •Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using RPGLE, ILE RPG, CLP, and DB2 on IBM i (AS/400) platform.
• •Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• •Perform application support, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
• •Develop and modify database files, stored procedures, and reports.
• •Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• •Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• •Support production deployments and provide post-implementation assistance.

• Required Skills
• •Strong experience in RPGLE, ILE RPG, Free Format RPG, CLLE, and DB2/400.
• •Good understanding of IBM i (AS/400) environment.
• •Experience in application maintenance, enhancements, and production support.
• •Knowledge of SQL, embedded SQL, and database design concepts.
• •Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and incident resolution.
• •Understanding of SDLC, change management, and version control processes.

• Preferred Skills
• •Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail domains.
• •Exposure to APIs, web services, and application integration.
• •Knowledge of Aldon, TurnOver, or other IBM i change management tools.

• Education
• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
