S&OP Analyst, EU AMZL S&OP

Delivering that growth depends on sizing the last mile operation (AMZL) correctly, and the mid-term planning team plays a key role: translating demand into the volume signals and plans that operations teams rely on to build capacity, control cost, and delight customers with unmatched speed.

We are looking for a customer-focused, analytically skilled planner to join our Same Day team. You will own the data behind the plan, retrieve, integrate, and visualize large-scale volume and performance data, and turn it into signals operations teams can act on. This role suits a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail and a genuine appetite for working with large data at scale.

• Key job responsibilities
• - Build and maintain the volume signals and mid-term plans for your Same Day scope, translating demand into the capacity inputs operations teams rely on.
• - Track key operational metrics (service availability, forecast accuracy/WAPE, cost per package) against goals, and surface risks and opportunities early.
• - Develop queries, dashboards, and reporting for both recurring planning cycles and ad-hoc deep dives, keeping the team's source of truth accurate and current.
• - Investigate variances between plan and actuals, diagnose root causes across the delivery process, and propose fixes.
• - Identify and drive process and tooling improvements that make the planning cycle faster, more accurate, and more scalable.
• - Partner on cross-functional initiatives, bringing the data and analysis that underpin capacity, speed, and cost decisions.

• A day in the life
• Your week has a rhythm. At the start of the week you turn demand into the volume signals operations teams build on. Mid-week you shift to improvement work: sharpening data visualizations, running extended deep dives, and providing cross-functional support to first mile, middle mile, and operations partners. Fridays are for looking inward and forward, planning ahead and managing caps for the coming weeks. Throughout, you interface with Operations, Supply Chain and Speed moving between hands-on analysis and clear communication. Your work directly shapes how fast, accurately, and cost-effectively customers get their orders.

Basic qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field
• - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
• - Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above

Preferred qualifications

- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent
