Job Description
The Total Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing assigned accounts across consumables, services, and instrumentation portfolios. This role involves driving product sales, developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and delivering overall account growth while ensuring a consultative and value-driven sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains responsibility for one or more named accounts or an entire named territory.
Convert new accounts (hunting) and/ or manage existing accounts (farming).
Responsible to grow business through up-sell and cross-sell activities across the Agilent portfolio of products. More than 50% of time spent with customers engaging across the sales process.
Coordinates Product/Market Specialists and Pre-Sales AE/ FAS/TSS and other functions needed to support sales activities and provide technical expertise.
Ensures customers are satisfied with service and support and builds strong relationships within accounts.
Engagement in Sales cycle:
- Opportunity Development
- Solution Development
- Negotiation & Close, Onboard & Implementation
- Relationship Management.
Accountabilities:
- Generate revenue through new and existing accounts
- Generate a healthy funnel opportunity
- Balanced performance across product lines
- Customer satisfaction and retention.
- Incentive-eligible position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
- Post-graduate, certification and/or license may be required.
- Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
