Sales Assistant – Castlewellan, County Down - Plumb Centre

As a Sales Assistant based in Castlewellan , you’ll be responsible for:

• •Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
• •Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• •Providing excellent service, establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
• •Proactively seeking opportunities to grow sales within the branch, working with both existing and new customers
• •Completing general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders (which will involve some heavy lifting), organising deliveries and merchandising displays to a high standard
• •Driving 3.5t van for holiday cover, delivering customer orders.

This is a Full Time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00am- 17:00pm. Saturday working when required 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.

• •Proven experience in sales and customer service
• •Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
• •A hands-on approach, using initiative when needed to work as part of a small team and support in all areas at the branch
• •Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• •Full UK Manual Driving licence
