Sales

American factories deserve a supply chain that moves as fast as they do. The next generation of American manufacturing is being built right now. Nox Metals is the supply chain behind it.

We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

We are hiring a salesperson to win new accounts with American manufacturers and grow them into long term partners.

You will:

Close new accounts, from first conversation to first order

Own relationships with buyers, supply chain managers, and shop owners, and become the person they call first

Quote fast and follow up faster

Learn the product deeply, including alloys, tempers, tolerances, lead times, and what actually matters on the floor

Work closely with software and purchasing to turn demand signals into inventory decisions, so the right plate is already on the floor when the order lands

Use AI to research accounts, prepare for calls, and follow up at a volume a team of five could not match

Build your own internal tools in Claude Code

Manage your own time with real discipline, protect your focus for the work that matters most, and delegate the rest

Grow existing accounts by finding the next part, the next program, and the next plant

Bring pricing, product, and service feedback back into the company while it is still useful

You should be:

Experienced at a high growth company or an early stage startup

Fast, organized, and on time

Excellent with AI tools and fluent in Claude Code. This is one of the most important skills in the role

A constant learner who goes deep on new subjects without being asked

Focused on the highest leverage work, with a strong instinct for what is exponential and what is only linear

Someone who puts the business first, especially when deciding where their own time goes and what to hand off

A problem solver who can carry a big item alone and knows when to pull in help

An optimist who believes this is a solvable problem and a winnable market

A leader who sets the standard for the people around them and makes the whole team better

Someone with a great attitude, the kind of person others want to work next to on a hard day

Low ego, customer obsessed, and quick to take work off other people's plates

High agency, and someone who never says "that's not my job"

Excited by a role where the extra hours you put in show up directly in the numbers. This role runs 60 to 90 hours per week and weekends are expected

Excited to spend the next 30 years rebuilding American manufacturing

Significant equity is offered.

This role is full time, in person in Detroit.

Is this role actually a fit for you?
