Sales Development Manager, Biopharma
- DESCRIPTION:
- Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to strategic growth and build meaningful partnerships in serving science. As a member of the Chemical Analysis Sales Development team , you'll identify and develop new business opportunities while building lasting relationships with key opinion leaders in Biopharma across Asia Pacific and Japan . Working with innovative scientific solutions, you'll help customers advance critical research, improve healthcare outcomes, and solve global challenges.
This role combines strategic account development, technical knowledge, and consultative selling to expand market presence and drive revenue growth. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact while receiving support for your professional development in an innovative environment.
- What you will do:
- Drive growth through identification and conversion of new business opportunities associated with customer inflection points and high value problems.
- Leverage close customer intimacy to identify critical needs and develop new business opportunities.
- Align Thermo Fisher Scientific solutions and roadmaps with customer roadmap, makes strategic marketing roadmap actionable
- Drive higher utilization and efficiency with our tools and workflow to make Thermo Fisher the solution of record and grow adoption
- Prioritize our strategic customers' unique needs, pain points, and goals
- Foresee market trends and align product offerings with the customer’s long-term business objectives.
- Partner closely with global account and regional sales teams
- Increased APJ Biopharma pipeline and execution consistency for the Chemical Analysis business
- Organize workshops and site visits targeting new customers
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy to maximize business opportunities
- REQUIREMENTS:
- Over 8 years of successful sales or business development experience in biopharma markets.
- Regional or multi geography experience preferred
- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are welcome to apply. Masters Degree is a plus.
- Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, Physics or related field
- Strong understanding of relevant scientific applications and workflows within assigned market segment
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Proficiency in developing and executing territory business plans
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive relationships
- Technical expertise relevant to assigned product portfolio
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Business Level in English Communication
