Why Auctor

Auctor is building the AI layer for professional services and software implementation. Think of us as the brain behind the best solution engineers, forward-deployed engineers, and onboarding teams, automating the documentation, the discovery, and the decision-making that powers $400B+ in services work. We're going after one of the biggest software categories of the decade.

Role Overview

We're hiring our first SDR to build outbound pipeline generation as we scale go-to-market at Auctor. This is a foundational hire: you’ll help define what "good" outbound looks like here, working closely with our AEs and leadership team to test messaging, refine ICP, and turn cold interest into qualified opportunities. Since there's no established playbook yet, you will be a key contributor in building one from the ground up.

What You'll Do

Build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels) to generate qualified pipeline

Research and identify target accounts and buyer personas, refining ICP as we learn what resonates

Test and iterate on outbound messaging, sequences, and talk tracks, helping create the playbook for future GTM team members

Partner with marketing on campaign feedback loops (what messaging lands, what doesn't, where the friction is)

Represent the company's story clearly to prospects who've likely never heard of Auctor before

Hit weekly/monthly activity and pipeline generation targets to inform reporting and forecasting

What You'll Have

0-4 years of professional experience, ideally in a fast-paced, analytical, or client-facing environment (e.g., VC/PE analyst, consulting, or a strong BDR/SDR track record at an early stage company)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distill a complex or unfamiliar product into a clear, compelling pitch

Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a track record of picking things up quickly

Comfort with ambiguity; genuinely energized by building something from scratch rather than following an existing playbook

Strong work ethic and coachability; responds well to feedback and iterates fast

Genuine interest in a long-term career in sales, marketing, or GTM operations

Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, etc.)

Existing network or familiarity with our target market/industry a plus

Benefits

Equity with real upside – you're joining early, and your equity reflects that

Competitive, top-of-market salary

Full medical, dental, and vision coverage

Monthly wellness stipend

Unlimited PTO – take the time you need

Daily meal stipend, plus dinner covered on the nights you're working late

Weekly happy hours and team outings because work is better with people you actually like

A great office in the heart of NYC
