About the Role:

Based at our Kewdale site and reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will drive sales growth for our galvanising products and services across the construction, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. Combining business development, technical sales and customer relationship management, you will identify new opportunities, provide practical technical guidance and deliver tailored solutions that support corrosion protection, durability and long-term performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Identify and secure new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure and manufacturing markets

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers

Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, quoting, negotiation and closing

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline, tracking performance, forecasts and conversion rates

Provide technical advice on galvanizing processes, applications and product benefits

Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness

Partner with internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth and timely delivery

Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business through ongoing customer engagement

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support sales strategies and market growth initiatives

About You:

You are a commercially focused sales professional who understands industrial or production environments and enjoys developing practical solutions for customers. You can confidently build relationships, communicate technical information and identify opportunities that deliver value for both the customer and the business.

You will also bring:

  • A qualification in business or sales, or at least three years’ relevant experience in manufacturing, mining, construction or a related industrial sector
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, account management or business development
  • Knowledge of galvanising, steel, coatings or related industrial processes
  • The ability to translate technical information into clear customer benefits
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Confidence delivering customer presentations and tailored sales proposals
  • A proactive approach to lead generation, pipeline development and achieving sales targets
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to use sales data to support decisions
  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams
