Shift Schedule

1st Shift Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - $24.00/hr

2nd Shift: Monday -Friday, 2:00 PM -10:30 PM $25.00/hr

3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM $25.50/hr

What You’ll Do

As a Sandblaster , you’ll prepare metal and other materials for coating and finishing by using abrasive blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, mill scale, and other contaminants.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role where quality, safety, and attention to detail matter. You’ll make sure surfaces are properly prepared before they move on to the next step in production.

Your Day-to-Day

• •Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment safely and efficiently
• •Prepare surfaces by removing rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants
• •Inspect workpieces to make sure surface preparation meets quality requirements
• •Select the appropriate blasting media, equipment settings, and PPE
• •Perform equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• •Troubleshoot equipment and assist with repairs when needed
• •Follow work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules
• •Document work and communicate production status using our CMMS system
• •Maintain a clean and organized work area using 6S principles
• •Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements
• •Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Previous experience in sandblasting, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial painting is preferred
• •Ability to follow written work instructions and safety procedures
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• •Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• •Ability to use measuring and inspection tools
• •Strong safety awareness
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• •Reliable attendance and punctuality
• •Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus

What to Expect

This is a hands-on manufacturing position. You’ll spend your day operating blasting equipment, preparing materials, inspecting your work, and helping keep equipment and your work area running safely and efficiently.

Required PPE includes:

• •NIOSH-approved Type 1 Class C respirator
• •Protective suit
• •Gloves
• •Hearing protection

You may occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 30 pounds. The position requires standing, walking, reaching, using your hands, and working around industrial equipment.
