A day in the life of an Infoscion

As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to lead the engagement effort of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions to customers at different stages- from problem definition to diagnosis to solution design, development and deployment.

You will review the proposals prepared by consultants, provide guidance, and analyze the solutions defined for the client business problems to identify any potential risks and issues.

You will identify change Management requirements and propose a structured approach to client for managing the change using multiple communication mechanisms.

You will also coach and create a vision for the team, provide subject matter training for your focus areas, motivate and inspire team members through effective and timely feedback and recognition for high performance.

You would be a key contributor in unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high-quality, value-adding consulting solutions to customers adhering to the guidelines and processes of the organization.

Responsibilities

Design and develop data models using SAP Datasphere

Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources (S/4HANA, BW, ECC, HANA, third-party systems)

Build semantic layers, views, and data products in Datasphere

Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements

Support data provisioning, data flows, and transformations

Ensure data quality, performance, and governance standards

Coordinate with analytics tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues

Technical requirements

2+ years of experience in SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)

Strong knowledge of SAP BTP architecture

Experience with data modeling, SQL, and ETL concepts

Understanding of SAP HANA, CDS views, and BW concepts

Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus

Knowledge of data integration tools and APIs

Good understanding of data security and access controls

Additional responsibilities

Should have good leadership, presentation and communication skills

Should be good in working with onshore-offshore delivery model

Should have the ability to handle client escalation

Project delivery and Team management skill is mandatory

Should have good troubleshooting skills
