SDE II - Financial Risk Mitigation, Payment Instrument Trust

Within SPS, our Financial Risk Mitigation team works to protect customers and sellers from financial harm caused by fraudulent activity. We reduce the impact of bad actors on our store, keeping both buyers and selling partners safe. Our goal is simple: make sure every transaction on Amazon is secure and trustworthy.

As an engineering team, we build smart, automated systems that protect Amazon at massive scale. We solve hard problems that require both new technology and creative thinking. We don't just use existing tools — we invent new ones to stay ahead of constantly evolving threats. We work across many teams at Amazon, balancing trade-offs and solving challenges that have real impact on hundreds of millions of people.

Basic qualifications

• - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
