Job Overview:

As an SDET, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our products are robust and reliable. You’ll design and develop automation frameworks, perform exploratory testing, and apply testing concepts using automation tools. This role offers a unique blend of challenges and opportunities for growth, combining the creativity of testing with the precision of automation.

Responsibilities:

• •Design & Develop: Build robust automated test frameworks and suites to streamline development and testing processes.
• •Explore & Test: Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• •Apply & Automate: Implement testing concepts and best practices with automation tools to enhance the quality of our products.
• •Collaborate: Work closely with development teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
• •Lead & Mentor: Guide the test automation team, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices are followed.
• •Innovate: Identify new automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement in our testing strategies.
• •Communicate: Report on test progress, results, and key quality metrics.
• •Ownership: Ensure high code coverage, reliability, and overall quality in our SaaS product releases.

Qualifications

• •3+ years of experience in QA engineering, software development, or SDET roles.
• •Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or TypeScript, with a strong understanding of OOP concepts.
• •Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks for UI, API, and cross-browser testing.
• •Knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and performance in database environments.
• •Experience with mobile device testing on Android or iOS is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
• •Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a knack for triaging and multitasking.
• •A track record of building test frameworks across various platforms and driving operational excellence.
