SDET ( TOSCA )

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to lead automated and manual testing efforts across our digital channels (Web and Mobile). In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca , conduct end-to-end API and Database testing, and validate core banking user flows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with native Android/iOS mobile testing and solid functional knowledge of core banking platforms like Finacle .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Test Automation & Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites in Tricentis Tosca covering Web, Mobile (iOS & Android), and API platforms.
• •Mobile Testing: Execute functional and automated testing across Android and iOS native/hybrid applications, ensuring UI responsiveness and cross-device stability.
• •API & Backend Testing: Perform robust REST/SOAP API testing using Tosca API Scan, Postman, or similar tools to validate data payloads, endpoints, and business logic.
• •Database (DB) Testing: Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend database transactions, ledger entries, data integrity, and ETL flows.
• •Test Design & Strategy: Utilize advanced Test Design principles (such as Tosca TestCase Design / TCD) to create dynamic, data-driven test scenarios maximizing coverage and minimizing maintenance.
• •Functional Testing: Author and execute comprehensive functional test cases for complex end-to-end banking transactions, user journeys, and payment pathways.
• •Core Banking Validation: Test financial transactions, account configurations, and payment flows within core banking environments (e.g., Finacle).
• •Agile & Defect Management: Track bugs, collaborate with development teams to triage issues, and participate actively in Sprint planning, daily standups, and story grooming.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• •Automation Expertise: 3+ years of primary hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (Modules, XScan, TCD, Buffers, Execution Lists). Experience with other tools (Appium, Selenium, Postman) is a plus.
• •Mobile Testing: Hands-on experience executing and automating tests on both Android and iOS platforms.
• •DB & API Testing: Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and practical experience with REST/SOAP API testing.
• •Functional & Test Design: Demonstrated ability in structural test design, requirement analysis, and end-to-end test execution.
• •Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
