About Broccoli

Broccoli is building the AI operating system for home service businesses.

We help HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other home service companies grow revenue and improve operations through AI-powered voice, booking, and customer communication solutions. Our platform helps contractors answer more calls, book more jobs, and operate more efficiently using AI.

Backed by top investors including YC and Khosla Ventures, Broccoli AI is scaling rapidly and becoming one of the leading AI platforms in the home services industry.

Your Mission

The SDR Manager will lead and scale Broccoli AI's outbound engine, reporting directly to the Head of Sales Development. You will own a team of 8 to 10 SDRs and be accountable for the pipeline they generate: meetings booked, meetings held, and opportunities that convert into real revenue.

This is a hands-on, in-the-trenches leadership role. You'll be on the floor coaching live calls, running roleplays, rewriting sequences that aren't converting, and holding the team to a high activity and quality bar every single day. You'll find a strong foundation already in place — a tiered comp plan with defined quotas and accelerators, a modern tech stack, and an active recruiting pipeline. Your job is to run it, sharpen it, and scale it.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Lehi, Utah, five days per week. Outbound teams are built in person, and this role is at the center of that.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 to 10 SDRs, owning their day-to-day performance, career development, and quota attainment

Own the outbound pipeline number, forecasting meetings and opportunities weekly and reporting results to sales leadership

Hold the team to clear activity and quality standards across dials, emails, and social touches, and address gaps quickly and directly

Run daily call blocks, live coaching, and weekly 1:1s focused on measurable skill development, not status updates

Build and continuously refine outbound sequences, talk tracks, and objection handling for the home services market

Own SDR onboarding and ramp, getting new hires to full productivity inside a defined ramp window

Recruit, interview, and hire SDRs as the team scales, and build a bench of talent for internal promotion into AE roles

Own the SDR-to-AE handoff, including meeting qualification criteria, opportunity hygiene, and pipeline quality feedback loops

Use Nooks, HubSpot, and AI roleplay tooling to surface patterns in what's working, coach against real call data, and drive improvement in connect, meeting-held, and opportunity conversion rates

Administer and refine the SDR comp plan, and make the case for changes when the data says something isn't working

Establish and track the KPIs that define outbound success

Who We're Looking For

1-2+ years of experience managing an SDR or BDR team, with a track record of hitting team pipeline targets

SaaS experience required; experience selling into home services, trades, or SMB/mid-market a strong plus

Prior success as an SDR or AE yourself, with the ability to get on the phone and show the team how it's done

Proficiency with HubSpot and modern outbound tooling (Nooks experience a plus), including using call data to coach

Demonstrated experience building or refining outbound sequences, cold call talk tracks, and objection handling frameworks

Experience hiring, onboarding, and ramping SDRs, including managing performance issues directly and fairly

Analytical mindset with comfort living in pipeline and activity data, and the ability to translate it into coaching decisions

High accountability and a willingness to set a hard standard and hold the line on it

Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment without constant direction

Based in Utah with the ability to work from our Lehi office five days per week
