SeaWorld San Antonio - Christmas Celebration Auditions - Sun, Sept 27, 2026

SeaWorld San Antonio is seeking outgoing and enthusiastic Singers, Drummers, Actors, Dancers, Puppeteers, and Costumed Characters for the Christmas season!

Date: Sunday, September 27, 2026

Location: SeaWorld Human Resources

Sign-in begins at 10:15am

Auditions begin promptly at 11:00am

You must be at least 16 years of age and have a parental consent form signed before you can audition

Audition information varies based on the type of performer. For example:

• •Dancers - come dressed comfortable to groove and show us your best moves to taught choreography
• •Costumed Characters and Puppeteers - Heights from 4'10 -6'. Come prepared to participate in movement exercises and ice-breaker style games
• •Actors - please prepare a 1-minute, family friendly monologue and be prepared to read a given side
• •Singers - Seeking versatile singers that can sing in the following genres: Pop, R&B, Classical. Please prepare 32 bars of a Classical song and 32 bars of an up-tempo Gospel song. Come prepared with your own music without lead vocals. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided for you. No a cappella auditions will be heard.
• •Drummers - please prepare 32 bars of a Latin percussion selection to be played on Congas.

- Soprano - D4-G5 Classically, and belt up to an F5 in R&B/Gospel style

- Alto - F#3-D5 Classically and in R&B/Gospel style

- Tenor - G3-G4 Classically, and belt up to Bb4 in R&B/Gospel

What you get to do:

• •Performs show/act in assigned area according to show schedules.
• •Performs daily warm-up on individual basis to insure performance without injury.
• •Develops skills/knowledge to maintain excellent quality show/appearance.
• •Follows through on show notes to insure progress in specific areas.
• •Maintains personal appearance by meeting costume and make-up requirements.
• •Assists in general cleaning of specified areas.
• •Assists in the daily operational aspects of assigned show, reporting prop/costume repairs in a timely manner.
• •Works with cast/crew and management to maintain the integrity of the show.
• •Consistently demonstrates courteous and professional behavior in all work aspects with all team members and guests.
• •Works as part of a team to increase productivity and while providing excellent guest service.
• •Maintains a professional appearance that meets grooming standards

What it takes to succeed:

• •Must be at least 16 years old
• •High school diploma, GED, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• •Must demonstrate ability to perform in casted role during the try-out process.
• •Must be able to work outdoors during evening hours.
• •Must be available for all rehearsal and performance dates.
• •Previous performance in community/school extra-curricular activities.
• •Communication and public relations skills.
• •Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
• •Must be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
• •Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• •Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to, the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations.
• •Must be willing to comply with and ensure team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
• •Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements including, but not limited to, passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.

• Audition Release Form:
• In order to audition for SeaWorld San Antonio, you must sign a release form. If you are under the age of 18, it must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

You will not be allowed to audition without this completed form. If you are under the age of 18, please plan ahead and have your parent/legal guardian sign the form before arriving at the audition.
