IBM's Cybersecurity business provides end-to-end services, ranging from security consulting and the design and implementation of security products and services to SOC (Security Operations Center) monitoring. We help clients strengthen their cyber defense capabilities, detect threats, respond to incidents, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The position we are currently recruiting for focuses on proposing, designing, and implementing security products and services. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their security requirements, recommend appropriate solutions and services, and help drive business opportunities. Acting as a trusted partner in cybersecurity, you will support clients in addressing their security challenges. In addition to IBM's own security offerings, IBM implements and manages a wide range of third-party security solutions for clients. We are seeking professionals with expertise in areas such as network security, identity and access management (IAM), and privileged access management (PAM). As part of IBM Security's global organization, you will also have opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies, including AI-powered security analytics and security automation. Approximately half of the members of our security organization joined IBM through experienced-hire recruitment. Proven track record of delivering cybersecurity projects and developing security solution proposals.Strong understanding of networking technologies and concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, proxies, and DNS. Fundamental knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux), including system administration and security configuration. Security expertise in cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience gathering and analyzing customer security requirements and challenges, and translating them into effective security solution proposals. Experience designing and implementing security architectures encompassing network security, identity and access management, endpoint security, and cloud security. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other globally recognized cybersecurity certifications are preferred. At least two areas of cybersecurity specialization, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of delivery and/or solution proposal experience in each area. (Role assignment and level will be determined based on the candidate’s demonstrated experience and achievements.)
